Our happiness is all a matter of perspective. The more we expect to gain happiness from something, the more we experience it. I guess this is related to being aware of what makes us happy, therefore taking control of our lives being relatively happier. I join you in affirming that I, too, feel a shift, though seemingly slight, toward a more loving stance. Even as I simply go for a walk in my neighborhood or venture down the grocery aisles, folks are more ready to smile back, make chit chat, or move out of the way to make room for others. I think that many of us are sensing the hardship others are experiencing, and we're finding it within our hearts to empathize and be compassionate. And I agree with Jimi. It is all about being constructive, isn't it? Making a tiny step is better than making none, believing in the possibility of change, evolution, improvement, is the first step towards achieving that improvement. I always feel there is a solution, a way, a possibility for each situation and difficulty, even if it may sometimes be a painful way, a very distant possibility, a far-fetched solution. Believing and trying hard make me feel better. I do what I can, it may not be much, but I do it, I want to do better and see nice things happen!

Thank you for the gentle reminder that I can choose to be peaceful in the most challenging times. Times that stretch my patience are the times when I need to be more patient! I'm glad that we are capable of seeing the lessons - in a leaking RV or a noisy yoga studio.

Just discovered you guys. I love the idea. Love Circle of Stones book. It inspired me to set up a women's circle here in Ireland three years ago.

To celebrate the 100th International Women's Day I am organising a circle of stones on our local beach next Saturday.
